Rebuilding Together

Rebuilding Together (Formerly known as "Christmas in April").It is the only national nonprofit working to preserve affordable homeownership and revitalize neighborhoods, by providing free home repairs to homeowners in-need. The increasing cost of living and decreasing social service budgets, leave our most vulnerable neighbors without the most basic of necessities: a warm, safe, and dry home.

The homeowners that Rebuilding Together serves, the majority of which are living at or below the federal poverty line, are especially affected disproportionately by the economic landscape.

Once a year in April, Asbury Town Neck UMC along with Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church in Severna Park work together in providing resources and volunteers to repair the homes of elderly, widows, disabled, and low-income families or non-profit facilities in our county.
