Young Adults

Young Adult Ministries
Facilitator: Min. Alexis Brown
Meeting date: Random
Location: Mostly off-site.

You’ve heard of a “midlife crisis,” but what about a “quarter-life”? Balancing family, friends, faith, and the future -- being a young adult means exciting years full of new opportunities and experiences, along with challenges and confusion.
It's not about what you are going to be when you grow up, but it's about who God created you to be!

ATN Young Adult Ministries takes advantage of spontaneous opporutities in which to fellowship.  Most of the members text each other and when there is an opporutnity to fellowship outside the walls of the formal church, it is a simple text away.  Some of the activities the Young Adult Ministries enjoy doing is bowling, going to movies, going to shows, having cookouts and having dinners at local restaurants.  They also enjoy short topical Bible study sessions that involve series.  These studies are typically held at restaurants and coffee houses. Many of the members of the Young Adult Ministires are members of several other ministries within the church from: singing on choirs, working the sound room, participating in outreach to ushering.

The Young Adult Ministries also participate with community service often times working with the Outreach ministry distributing food and other supplies especially during the holiday season.  The ministry sponsors their Annual Trunk or Treat event for ATN Kids and the community as well as they work with the Rebuilding Together project.

If you want to be kept in the loop and added to the group text when opportunities to serve arise or when the Young Adult Ministries decide to do activities off-site, please contact Min. Alexis Brown on her email: faithnfit@gmail.com
