Rev. James A. Bishop Sr. has been appointed to serve as the senior pastor of Asbury Town Neck UMC in Severna Park in the Annapolis District. For the past eight years, Bishop has served as the pastor of Goshen UMC in Gaithersburg. Under his leadership, the Goshen congregation experienced growth in every aspect of ministry. His gifts are in the area of worship and outreach. He looks forward to this new challenge in ministry. Rev Bishop is an Elder in Full. He is married to Martha Ann.
